Hope House of Arizona believes that education is the key to success and is committed to providing former foster youth with the tools and resources that will enable them to achieve academic success. Our educational support services are designed to provide academic support and enrichment, while promoting academic excellence and inspiring a lifelong love for learning. Youth are encouraged to embrace high standards and set high goals. Academic support includes tutoring, with an emphasis on literacy, reading improvement, and math enrichment. Test preparation for the SAT, ACT, GED and ASVAB are available. Assistance obtaining high school diplomas, enrolling in post-secondary education or vocational training programs, or enlisting in the armed forces is also provided. Each youth receives an individualized academic plan to assist them in setting short- and long-term academic goals.
